Déise Óg/Waterford GAA Coach Education Programme – Upcoming Courses February/March 2023
Déise Óg and Waterford GAA are delighted to be rolling out our formal Coach Education programme for Spring 2023 in the coming weeks and months.
There are courses at ICGG (new Foundation course) and Award 1 level planned county wide and we are looking forward to the rollout and delivery of these courses.
Please see below the current list of courses that have been set up and please note that places on all of these courses are limited so please book your place as soon as possible. Instructions on how to register on the GAA Learning page and also to enrol on a course are in the attached document.
The Introduction to Coaching Gaelic Games (ICGG) courses are open to coaches from the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Associations.

Introduction to Coaching Gaelic Games (ICGG) – Mount Sion Primary School (Hurling/Camogie/Gaelic Football)
Dates: Session 1 Mon Feb 13th 7pm-10pm + Session 2 Mon Feb 20th 7pm-10pm + Session 3 Mon Feb 27th 7pm-10pm
Cost: €35 (invoiced to your own GAA Club)
PLEASE NOTE: Coaches MUST attend all three sessions in order to complete the course

Date: Session 1 Sat Feb 18th 9am-5pm

Award 1 Youth/Adult Coaching Course – Ballinameela Community Centre (Hurling/Gaelic Football)
Dates: Session 1 Sat Feb 25th – 10am-5pm + Session 2 Sat Mar 4th – 10am-5pm
Cost: €70 (invoiced to your own GAA Club)
PLEASE NOTE: Coaches MUST have completed the Foundation Coaching Course at least two years previously and be actively coaching in their GAA Club to register for this course. Coaches must also attend BOTH SESSIONS in order to complete the course. Do not sign up unless you can make both sessions. Thank you.

There will be further ICGG and Award 1 courses ran across the county in March and April as well as a Munster GAA Award 2 coaching course for elite and experienced coaches.
