Design a Jersey Winner 2025 Announced
The winner of the 2025 Design a Jersey competition run by Déise Óg and Azzurri has been announced. Congratulations to Fionn Molumphy from St Michael’s National School, Ballyduff Upper on being chosen as the winner for this year. Fionn’s entry was one of over 500 received from children in Primary schools the length and breadth of Waterford. It was a tough job to pick a winner with many high quality designs submitted.
Congratulating Fionn was Jack Molloy, Azzurri Business Development Manager, who said that Azzurri were “delighted to have so many entries once again showing the great interest in the competition every year.” The jersey is going into production to be ready for the launch in early April with Jack looking forward to “seeing the jersey in many grounds as supporters follow the county teams in the 2025 championship”
Echoing Jack with congratulations for Fionn was Waterford GAA County Head of Games Eoin Breathnach who said Déise Óg “were delighted to have over 500 entries again in 2025. Déise Óg wish to thank schools and clubs for the promotion of the competition” and Eoin is looking forward to “seeing the first jersey being presented to Fionn in the coming weeks”
The jersey will be officially launched in St Michael’s NS, Ballyduff Upper, the home school of Fionn Molumphy in the first week of April in what is sure to be a great occasion. The jersey will be available online and in sports shops and will likely be very popular with supporters of all ages.
