Waterford GAA Jersey Presentation to UHW

Waterford GAA chairman, Sean Michael O’Regan is pictured presenting a framed Waterford GAA jersey to Nurse Yvonne McCall, ED Shift Leader outside the Dunmore Wing at UHW on Tuesday last.

It was an initiative by all GAA county boards in the country in recognition of the wonderful work that frontline

staff in all the hospitals have done and are still doing during this pandemic.  Each jersey and the accompanying short message will then be hung in a prominent position in the hospital.

Sean Michael went on to say that ‘all the frontline staff were the real heroes in this global pandemic and this gesture was a sincere way

of acknowledging this’.

Also included in the picture were Dr.Mark Rogan, Consultant Respiratory Physician, UHW, Grace Rothwell, General Manager, UHW,

Dr.Brendan McCann, Consultant, Emergency Medicine, UHW and Dr.Walid Altaf, ICU Lead, UHW.
