Applications are invited for positions as Coaches for the Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 2023. Camps will be running in Waterford from 3rd July-25th August in Juvenile clubs across the county subject to GAA/Government guidelines.Applicants must have current or previous coaching experience in a club, school or county development squad. Evidence of current coaching role may be required. Coaches will be required to coach both Hurling and Gaelic Football to children aged 6-13 in camps.The following are the minimum criteria that all coaches must have before they will be considered for a position. Under no circumstances can we offer coach positions to coaches who do not meet the coaching qualification criteria.• Be 18 years of age by 1st July 2023 (Applications may be considered for those who are 17 as Assistant Coaches depending on number of coaches required)• Minimum GAA Foundation Coaching Course completed. Courses will be run in clubs in February please contact your Club Secretary/Children’s Officer for details.• GAA Garda Vetting Reference Number. Vetting number must be supplied. If not completed it must be done through your GAA Foireann Account• GAA Safeguarding (Child Welfare) Certificate Number must be supplied. If not completed at time of application must be completed prior to start of Cúl Camps. We will have 1 Safeguarding workshop during Easter holidays in April.Initial training for coaches will take place on Thur 6th April 2023 in SETU Arena Carriganore. Attendance will be required for anyone who wishes to work as a Cúl Camp Coach. Additional training will take place in late June. Training will be a mix of practical coaching and workshops
